I believe the paint to be original (it's an orangish-peach color), so I didn't want to touch it up! This slot is mounted on a wooden base with a payout cup in the front and a locking back door for the 'overflow' coins. The exterior paint has a few minor 'rub' marks. The chrome, signage and reel strips are all VERY NICE. The machine pays 20-coins on a 'jackpot', with the balance paid by an attendant (as per Nevada rules at the time). It is strictly mechanical and the electricity is for illumination only. Although this IS a LIGHT-UP slot machine it DOES NOT require electricity to play it. This auction is for a 5-cent Mills Open-Front slot machine from the long-closed PRIMADONNA casino in Reno!! This machine is from my personal collection and for those of you who don't know me, I don't sell from my personal collection very often! This is the rarer 4-REEL slot which features all of the regular ' fruit ' payouts as well as 6 different ' jackpot ' payouts!! The machine is serial numbered 08429 and is (I believe) from the early 1960's.
